KGF distinguishes ordination into the Melchizedek Priesthood from consecration into a specific ministry office.
Ordination is a one-time, lifelong event within the fellowship. The ordinand is formally ordained as a Melchizedek Priest and receives priestly standing and spiritual authority within KGF.
Ordination takes place at a District Conference and is conducted by the Regional Bishop, while the Global Presiding Bishop retains ultimate sanctioning authority and may preside when present.
Consecration is the formal commissioning into a specific ministry office. Unlike ordination, it may occur multiple times as a minister’s calling, responsibility, or recognized office changes.
Offices include Deacon or Deaconess, Elder, Evangelist, Teacher, Pastor, Prophet, Apostle, and Bishop.

One Ordination. Lifelong Priesthood.
Complete mandatory foundational training through the District Conference in partnership with MTTC.
Credentials are issued and validated during the District Conference Session.
Advanced ordination preparation may begin after receiving priesthood certification.
Use the required period for spiritual growth, ministry involvement, and preparation.
Be ordained at the District Conference by the Regional Bishop, then attend the National Holy Convocation to receive the official tenets and complete induction.
Costs for each stage are set for every country in its own currency. Payment plans are available for ordination where a country permits them. Your exact figures are shown once your application is under way.
| Milestone | Cost | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Priesthood Ministerial Certification | Set per country | MTTC enrollment, credential ceremony, certificate, AMI integration, priesthood mantle |

Ordination makes a Melchizedek Priest once, for life. Consecration commissions a minister into a specific office, and may happen more than once as a minister’s calling, responsibility, or recognised office changes.
Like each stage of training and ordination, each consecration carries its own cost, set for each country in its own currency.

Before a credential is issued, the officer issuing it confirms that the requirements have been met: membership active, required training completed, the waiting period completed, the required interview and approvals received, payment requirements satisfied, supporting documents verified, identity confirmed, and no governance restriction in place.
Each credential is then added to the holder’s credential vault in the member portal, and can be checked by anybody on the public register with the holder’s AMI number.

The pathway begins with membership and the Priesthood Ministerial Certificate. See how training is structured, or browse the courses.
