In short: we collect what we need to consider your application, run your membership and keep the fellowship's register. The public can see your name, rank and country in the directory, and can check a credential you hold with its code — nothing more. We do not sell your information, and we use one cookie, to keep you signed in.
Who we are
Kingdom Global Fellowship ("KGF", "we") runs this website, the membership application, the member portal and the fellowship's register of members and credentials. KGF's Global Office is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach it through the contact page.
What we collect
When you apply for membership
- your name, email address, telephone number, country and city, and — if you choose to give them — your address, gender, church or ministry and current ministry position;
- a photograph of yourself, which your District Overseer sees when you meet;
- why you want to join, where you would like to serve, and the commitments you confirm;
- if somebody referred you, their AMI number, so they can be credited.
When you become a member
- your AMI (Authentic Membership Identification) number, rank, district, region and nation;
- your standing in the fellowship, and a history of changes to it;
- the dues and other charges raised against your membership, and the payments you make;
- credentials issued to you, training you enrol in, events you book, and documents you choose to upload to your portal.
When you use the website
- what you type into the contact form (name, email, and optionally telephone and country, with your message);
- when a credential is checked on the Verify page: the code searched, whether it matched, and a shortened form of the network address it came from (the last part is removed);
- short-lived records of attempts at things like signing in and searching, used only to stop abuse;
- ordinary server logs, including your network address, kept for security and to fix faults.
How we use it
- to consider your application, including the interview and review by your district and region and approval by the Global Office;
- to run your membership: issuing your AMI number and credentials, raising and recording dues, issuing receipts, and connecting you with your district;
- to answer messages you send us;
- to keep the public register of credentials accurate, so that anybody can confirm a credential is genuine;
- to keep the platform secure and to keep a record of what staff and officers do with members' records.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see your information
Inside the fellowship, access follows responsibility. Your District Overseer sees the members of their district; a Regional Bishop sees their region; the national and Global Offices see more widely; treasury staff see financial records. Each officer sees only the part of the fellowship they are responsible for, and what they do is recorded in an audit log.
Outside the fellowship, we share information only with the services that make the platform work — our web host, our email provider and our payment processor, Paystack — and only what each needs, or where the law requires it.
What is public
- The directory (Find a Member) shows your name, rank and country only. District, ministry and contact details are not published.
- The credential register (Verify) answers a check made with a credential's code — from the code typed in, a link or the QR code printed on the credential. It shows whether the credential is valid, the holder's name, the credential, who issued it, the jurisdiction and its dates. It never shows why a credential was suspended or revoked, or any contact details.
- News articles may name or picture people taking part in the fellowship's life. If you would rather not appear, tell us.
Payments
Card and mobile-money payments are made through Paystack, on Paystack's own secure pages. Your card number never reaches KGF and is not stored by us. We keep the amount, the currency, the payment reference and what the payment was for, so your record and receipts are correct. Paystack's handling of your payment details is covered by Paystack's privacy policy.
Emails
We email you about things you have started or that affect your membership: your application reference, the link to set your password, receipts, and changes to your standing or credentials. These are part of running your membership. Where we send news, event or giving updates, each carries a way to stop them.
Cookies and your browser
We use one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and protects forms from being submitted by another site. It is strictly necessary, holds no personal information itself, and ends when you sign out or close your browser. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
The membership application saves your answers in your own browser as you go, so you can stop and come back. They stay on your device, are not sent to us until you submit, and are cleared when you do. Your photograph is never stored this way.
The website's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch them. The share buttons on news articles are plain links: nothing is sent to those services unless you click one.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Passwords are stored only as secure one-way hashes — nobody at KGF can read yours, and we will never ask for it. Staff accounts can use two-step sign-in. Uploaded photographs are checked and re-saved so that they contain the picture and nothing else (which also removes location data a phone may have attached). Private documents are kept outside the public website, and every change staff make to a member's record is written to a tamper-evident audit log.
How long we keep it
- Credential checks on the Verify page: 90 days.
- Records of sign-in and search attempts used to stop abuse: 7 days.
- Membership, credential and payment records: for as long as you are a member, and afterwards for as long as the fellowship needs them to answer questions about credentials it issued and to keep proper financial accounts.
- Applications that do not proceed, and contact messages: only as long as needed to deal with them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- see the information we hold about you — most of it is in your member portal;
- take a copy of it — members can download their own record from the portal, or ask us;
- correct it — you can keep your own contact details current in the portal, and ask us to fix anything else;
- ask us to delete it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. Some records, such as the history of a credential the fellowship issued or financial records, may have to be kept; if so, we will tell you why;
- complain to the data-protection authority in your country.
To use any of these rights, contact the Global Office. We may need to confirm it is you before acting.
Changes and contact
If we change how we use personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions about privacy go to the Global Office through the contact page.
